Milano fashion week backstage: Marco de Vincenzo
“Marco de Vincenzo went bold and eccentric for fall—nothing unusual for the designer, who nevertheless defines himself as shy. He seemed to ditch shyness, though, in favor of some jolly good fun: “There’s so much pressure today on our work as designers; it’s crazy,” he said. “I just wanted to remind myself how much I love this job and having fun doing improbable projects with a wide-eyed sense of wonderment.” He called his collection Macro/Micro, and he presented inflated shapes as if seen through the magnifying lens of a child’s unbridled imagination”, – states Vogue.
