La'Theatre, the country's oldest enterprise, announces a special project for World Theater Day: March 25, 26, 27, 2024 at the Khamovniki Theater and April 1, 2024 at the Pushkin Theater the play will be shown "Conversations after the funeral"  directed by Vadim Dubrovitsky. The stage stars take part in the production: Rosa Khairullina, Valentin Smirnitsky, Evgeny Dyatlov, Nelly Uvarova, Alexey Vertkov, Tatyana Kazyuchits, Polina Chernyshova. The set design was created by Nikolai Simonov, production designer of the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov, Sovremennik, Theater of Nations and O. Tabakov Theater.

The play takes on a special resonance during the Year of the Family - this story makes you think about the value of family relationships and the consequences of conflicts with loved ones. What will the departure of the head of the family entail: the collapse or the revival of family ties? Stage director Vadim Dubovitsky says:

The play is about discovering freedom in oneself through love. This, it seems to me, is unrealistically relevant. Many people decide this question for themselves, even when they have no idea that they are doing it. It doesn't happen directly. Sometimes we throw in some kind of irritant that a person does not formulate for himself, but is emotionally charged by it. He may not be aware of it, but it is with this charge that he leaves the performance.
