In Berlin, from February 14 to 25, one of the three main film festivals in Europe was held - the Berlin Film Festival or Berlinale. Magazine The Status Symbol publishes a selection of portraits of stars of the main stars of the film festival.

The main Golden Bear prize for best film at the 74th Berlinale went to the documentary Dahomey, a film by 41-year-old Senegalese-French director Mati Diop.
