Personal exhibition of Andro at Omelchenko gallery
At Omelchenko Gallery, performer Andro (Ioann Zhani Kuznetsov) makes his debut as an artist. In his painting, Andro is inspired by American neo-expressionism, including the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat, and gypsy culture, using quotes from the Bible. The main character of Andro, Mr. Santos (Mr. Saint), appears in different guises in the paintings of a musician and an artist. The exhibition “Phenomenon”, which will be held from May 25 to June 24, 2023, was made possible thanks to the support of Vkontakte, as well as the ARTPatrol project of Yuri Omelchenko, founder of Omelchenko Gallery. It was Yuri Omelchenko Andro who first showed his paintings in 2020; Andro needed another 3 years to create paintings for the first full-fledged exhibition, which opened at Omelchenko Gallery.

Artist Andro
Andro's works constitute one Gipsy multiverse. The artist admits that he is inspired to create paintings by God, religions and the symbols that surround us. The Gipsy universe is mysterious, mysterious and dangerous. Like a magic mirror, it reflects the most important moments of our common history to once again remind us of the lessons that humanity seems to have never learned. Mr. Santos, the main character of Andro's works, travels through Gipsy to find his lost father and prevent the repetition of terrible events that people will have to face again if luck does not smile on him. The colorful, festive carousel of Gipsy easily turns into a painful Eternal Return - it all depends on how you look at it.
